Ashley Dunnicliffe - Dip. MPT, MLBP, SMT
Master Personal Trainer in Corrective Exercise
With 20+ years’ experience in the Fitness Industry, I initially served in The Household Cavalry for 10 years as a physical training instructor, where I learned to work with people at various levels of fitness. After leaving in 2008, I completed my Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy.
I offer bespoke training plans to clients designed to meet their own individual needs. Each session will be varied, allowing them to achieve and remain committed to their initial requirements, in a structured and motivational environment.
My clients train for many different reasons – weight loss, return to exercise after injury, competition training and mental health improvements. Along with Personal Training, I also provide services to the Steps to Health Programme in Maidenhead, a medical referral scheme for patients who would benefit from an opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing using exercise. I have also been able to apply my Personal Training knowledge to assist children and young adults with Cerebral Palsy helping them extend their range of movement and gain stability pre and post SDR Surgery.
I am registered within the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) as a Level 4 Master Personal Trainer specializing in Lower Back Pain Management. I am passionate about fitness and am committed to helping my clients achieve the physical and mental changes they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle after a Personal Training Session. I believe in a continued programme of self-development to help my clients achieve optimal results. I am currently studying for a Diploma in Education and Training to register as a Qualified Teacher. This will enable me to pass on my knowledge and experience as a Personal Trainer, to those who want a sustainable career in the fitness industry and to enhance the experience for Steps to Health Clients, I am studying Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation.
